In order to be able to use the Service, User must create a profile by registering on the Website. Upon creating the profile, You will be asked to provide your full name, phone number, Skype or other messenger details, e-mail address and LinkedIn profile name (optionally), mailing addresses, professional title, company name. We will also need to know your role in the shipping market, i.e. Shipowner/ Charterer/ Shipbroker and your current timezone. We retain information on your behalf, such as files and messages that you store using your Account.

In order to complete your subscription We will ask you for your payment details which may be your credit/ debit card details or your PayPal or STRIPE details in order to proceed the payment or We may send You an invoice upon request. Your payment details are not stored by Us.

While using the Service We automatically record information from Your Device and its software as well as Your activity using the Service, including, but with no limitation to, your Device Internet Protocol address (hereinafter referred to as “IP address”), browser type and version, search phrases, the pages of the Service that You visit, the time and date of such visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.

Why and how We collect and use the information about you

After receiver’s reply the sender is allowed access to the detailed profile of the receiver. User can view open positions of other Users from their contact list, and may delete a User from their contact list, in which case that User cannot view the deleted User’s open positions.

We may also wish to provide You with information about special features of the Website or any other service or products We think may be of interest to You. If You would rather not receive this information, You can opt-out by choosing an unsubscribe option, which is available in every marketing email, through profile settings or by sending an email to support@opensea.pro.
